Amanda Hewitt's sculptures explore the quiet language of human experience through line, form and space.
Working in stucco, plaster, bronze, paper pulp and mixed media, Amanda is drawn to the relationships, emotions and moments of connection that shape our lives - from the intimate bond between mother and child to the quiet understanding between two people, and the simple pleasure of finding hope and beauty in an uncertain world.
Her work is often deliberately pared back, allowing line, shape and space to express what words cannot.
